In the early morning hours of June 11, 2017, a DeKalb County police officer on patrol made a grim discovery in the parking lot of Mark Trail Park in Decatur, Georgia. A man, later identified as 28-year-old Kenneth Adair from Louisville, Tennessee, was found lying face down in a pool of blood. The scene was unsettling, as Adair had no pants on, and they were not found nearby. Investigators at the scene located three 9mm shell casings, indicating the violent nature of his death.
