A tragic and unusual sequence of events unfolded on Thanksgiving Day in 2020, resulting in the deaths of two young men in an Ypsilanti Township apartment. Marcus Dwayne Mackey, a 22-year-old male, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on November 26, 2020.
