In the early hours of June 8, 2017, the life of 28-year-old Dominique Deshawn Lee, a Black male from Ypsilanti Township, Michigan, was tragically cut short. At approximately 2:45 a.m., authorities responded to a call reporting gunshots and a vehicle crash at the Sauk Trail Pointe housing complex on West Michigan Avenue.
