In the spring of 2022, the life of 19-year-old Laryus Dottery was tragically cut short by gun violence in Ypsilanti, Michigan. On the evening of May 14, a fatal encounter unfolded near the BP Dairy Mart on Textile Road, ending in Dottery's death.
