Patrick Clayton Petiprin, a 34-year-old white male, died from a gunshot wound on the night of May 7, 2025. The incident occurred at a residence on North Hewitt Road in Ypsilanti Township, Michigan. Deputies from the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office were called to the scene late in the evening in response to a domestic dispute.
Upon their arrival, authorities found that an altercation between Patrick and his 74-year-old father had escalated, resulting in the fatal shooting.

He had a passion for cooking and had worked in the restaurant industry for many years, even developing a homemade steak sauce with his father. More recently, he had been working in construction.
