Ismael D. Pugh, a 28-year-old Black/African American male, had his life cut short on March 19, 2018, in Ypsilanti Township, Michigan. On that Monday, local authorities were called to a neighborhood scene following reports of gunfire. When deputies from the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office arrived, they discovered Pugh suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the response of emergency services, he succumbed to his injuries, marking a violent end to the young man's life.
