In the quiet community of Ypsilanti, Michigan, the life of 27-year-old Tavarus Davis, a male, was cut short on the morning of Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Reports from that day indicate that Davis was fatally shot by a homeowner in Washtenaw County.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a shooting at a residence. Upon arrival, deputies found Davis deceased at the scene. The initial investigation suggested that the homeowner had shot Davis. The homeowner was taken into ...
