Derius De'Sean James, a 25-year-old resident of Ypsilanti Township, Michigan, tragically lost his life on August 2, 2015. The incident that led to his death occurred following a confrontation at a Citgo gas station. According to reports, the altercation began at a birthday party and escalated to the gas station, where James was attempting to flee the scene.
