Eric Lee Hargrove Jr., aged 38, tragically lost his life on November 1, 2015, in Ypsilanti Township, Michigan. Hargrove was shot and killed around 10:20 p.m. after answering a knock on his door in the 800 block of Desoto Avenue. This incident was particularly devastating for his family, as it mirrored the death of his brother, Shaunel Lee Vawters, who was also shot and killed in the same neighborhood ten years earlier.
