Louis Allen, 39, male, was found shot to death behind a Checkers restaurant off the 4000 block of Glenwood Road in DeKalb County on the afternoon of Saturday, July 26, 2025. Officers responding just after 3 p.m. discovered him in an alley behind the business, and he was publicly identified two days later. The killing occurred in a busy corridor near Columbia Drive, drawing a swift response from detectives who canvassed the area for surveillance video and witnesses.
