Christopher Copeland, a 36-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on September 8, 2021, in Decatur, Georgia. The incident occurred in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Columbia Drive. According to reports, Copeland was shot multiple times in a drive-by shooting. When officers from the DeKalb County Police Department arrived at the scene shortly after 2 p.m., they found Copeland with multiple gunshot wounds.
