Eric Broomfield, a 23-year-old African American male, was found dead on December 1, 2019, in Macon, Georgia. His body was discovered inside a car in an alleyway off Winton Avenue, with visible blood on him. The circumstances surrounding his death led to an immediate investigation by the Bibb County Sheriff's Office. The investigation revealed that Broomfield had been shot, and his death was ruled a homicide.
