On a tragic day in Macon, Georgia, 41-year-old George Nicholas Brooks, an African American male, lost his life in a brutal home invasion. The harrowing events unfolded on November 3, 2022, at a residence on Morris Avenue. Responding to a call of a person shot shortly before 1:30 a.m., Bibb County sheriff's deputies discovered a grim scene.
