Jevaun Campbell, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 24, 2021, in Monroe, Georgia. The incident occurred late at night when Monroe Police Department officers were dispatched to Gliding Lane in response to a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Tyreke Mardrell Strozier, a 21-year-old male, who had been shot. Strozier was transported to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
