On a Saturday night in Monroe, Georgia, the life of 21-year-old Tyreke Mardrell Strozier was tragically cut short. The events of April 24, 2021, unfolded on Gliding Lane, where police responded to a call of a male shot shortly after 10 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Strozier inside a residence with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was transported to Piedmont Walton Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
