Alijah Nelson, a 19-year-old male from Athens, GA, was fatally shot on October 21, 2022, in what has been described as a gang-related incident. Nelson, who was identified as a member of the Red Tape Gang, was involved in a confrontation with a rival gang member at a gas station on Gaines School Road.
