Hassan Freeman, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 28, 2022, in Decatur, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Asberry Apartments on Flat Shoals Parkway, where Hassan Freeman and his friend, Devonte Dawson, were found shot to death in a hallway. The news of his death left his mother, Cindy Freeman, heartbroken and seeking justice for her son.
