In the late afternoon of February 11, 2017, in Decatur, Georgia, 18-year-old Jalen Flournoy was fatally shot in what appeared to be a robbery gone wrong. The incident occurred around 2:40 p.m. at the Eastwyck Apartments off Candler Road. According to a witness, he and Flournoy were approached by three or four men wearing black masks. One of the masked individuals was armed with a gun.
