Earl English, a 28-year-old African American man, was found dead on May 16, 2017, in his rented home on Northstrand Drive in Decatur, Georgia. His body was discovered by DeKalb County police after concerns were raised by his family and friends when he failed to show up for work and did not answer his phone.
