On what should have been a joyous occasion, Nicholas Bankston, a 24-year-old male, was senselessly murdered in the early morning hours of February 22, 2018, as he drove home from celebrating his own birthday. Bankston was in his vehicle with his pregnant fiancée, his children, and another adult in Decatur, Georgia, when another car pulled alongside and an occupant opened fire. The barrage of bullets struck and killed Bankston, tragically ending a life full of promise in front of his loved ones. ...
