In the early morning hours of December 6, 2022, a tragic shooting at the West Club Apartments in Macon, Georgia, claimed the life of 16-year-old Marcelles Williams Jr. and two other teenagers. The male teenager was found unresponsive by Bibb County sheriff's deputies who were responding to reports of multiple people shot at the Stevens Drive complex shortly before 1:30 a.m.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other victims, 18-year-old Jahryon Willis and 18-year-old Tyshun Williams, were also discovered with gunshot wounds. They were transported to a local hospital for treatment but succumbed to their injuries. A fourth teenager, a 14-year-old male, was also wounded in the incident and was initially listed in critical condition.
At the time of the initial reports, the Bibb County Sheriff's Office had not determined the circumstances that led to the deadly shooting.
