On January 16, 2024, a fatal shooting incident occurred in the 3200 block of Houston Avenue in Macon, Georgia. The victim, 44-year-old Tavores Maurice Pearson, was found suffering from a gunshot wound. The incident was reported to the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center at 9:25 p.m. on Monday evening. Deputies from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and observed Pearson with the gunshot wound.
