Marcus Cunningham Jr., 22, a man from Macon, was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound inside an apartment at the Autumn Trace Apartments on Rocky Creek Road the evening of June 5, 2025. Deputies had been dispatched just before 7:30 p.m.; Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley pronounced him dead at the scene, with the coroner noting he was shot in the chest and listing the location as 1745 Rocky Creek Road.
