Michael Antwan Chapman, a 30-year-old African American male, was found dead on September 15, 2018, in Macon, Georgia. His body was discovered outside a home on Burke Street, and his death was ruled a homicide. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office identified the cause of death as a gunshot wound. Chapman's death marked the 31st homicide in Macon-Bibb County for that year.
