Special Agent Richard Frank Morello, a dedicated officer with the California Department of Justice, tragically lost his life on June 14, 1971, in Riverside, California. Agent Morello was involved in an undercover operation aimed at purchasing hashish. During this operation, he successfully completed the drug transaction, but the situation quickly escalated when law enforcement officers moved in to arrest the suspects. In the ensuing chaos, Agent Morello was fatally shot by the principal suspect. ...
