In the early hours of September 3, 2024, at approximately 12:03 a.m., deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff's Station responded to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 2900 block of Rubidoux Boulevard, Jurupa Valley, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 37-year-old Avelino Recardo "Rasko" Sanchez suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies immediately administered life-saving measures until paramedics arrived.
