Jeffrey Ragland, a 50-year-old retired correction officer, was fatally shot on January 10, 2014, in Queens, New York. Ragland was involved in a confrontation with Oniel Linton, a 36-year-old active correction officer, and Salees Sales, a 33-year-old correction officer who was Linton's girlfriend.
