Julio Mora, a 22-year-old resident of Richmond Hill, Queens, was tragically killed on January 1, 2014, marking the first murder of the year in New York City. Mora was found with a gunshot wound to the chest at a residence on 113th Avenue near Sutphin Boulevard in South Jamaica.
