In the early morning hours of September 12, 2021, a joyous occasion turned into a scene of tragedy under the Rockaway Boardwalk in Queens, New York. Gerard Pounder, a 32-year-old male, was attending an outdoor party near Beach 34th Street when the vibrant atmosphere was shattered by the sound of a gunshot.
