In the winter of 2018, a burst of gunfire shattered the night in Queens, leaving a family and community in mourning. On the evening of January 28th, Sherwood Beverly, a 51-year-old man known to his loved ones as 'Prince,' was shot and killed while sitting in a luxury SUV. Two other individuals in the vehicle with him were also injured in the attack. The shooting cut short the life of a man remembered as a great and humble person with a love for children, who worked as a personal trainer.
