Daijon Dessasore, a 24-year-old Bronx resident, tragically lost his life in a drive-by shooting on March 13, 2021, in Queens, New York. Dessasore was sitting in an idling car on 98th Avenue near Springfield Boulevard when a white vehicle approached, and a gunman inside opened fire just before 1 a.m. Dessasore was struck in the chest and arm, and despite his attempts to escape, he collapsed on the street while his friends fled the scene.
