In a tragic eruption of gang violence on a spring evening in Queens, New York, a young man's life was cut short. Joshua Flores, a 23-year-old male, was fatally shot on May 18, 2017, near a playground in a residential area. The events of that night stemmed from an internal dispute within the Latin Kings street gang.
