Laton Spurgeon, a 25-year-old resident of Queens, NY, was tragically killed on December 19, 2006. Spurgeon was shot and then struck by a car as he was leaving his brother's home in Far Rockaway. The incident occurred amidst a violent feud between members of the Spurgeon family and the gang GIB (Get It in Bricks), an offshoot of the Bloods.
