In the winter of 2018, a promising young life was cut tragically short in the Far Rockaway neighborhood of Queens, New York. Trevor Rhudd, a 15-year-old male, was fatally shot on the afternoon of Saturday, January 13th. The incident occurred within the second-floor stairwell of his own apartment building on Beach Channel Drive, a place that should have been a sanctuary for the teenager.
