On January 13, 2018, 15-year-old Trevor Rhudd was tragically shot to death in a public housing development in Queens, New York. The incident occurred at the Beach 41st Street Houses in Edgemere, where Trevor was found lying in a second-floor stairwell with a gunshot wound to his chest. The shooting was reportedly the result of a dispute over an iPhone. Trevor's mother, Annie Johnson, revealed that her son was ambushed by his own friends, who led him into the stairwell where he was fatally shot.
