On a cold Valentine's Day morning in Queens, New York, a dispute turned deadly, leaving a 31-year-old man, Dominick Lowery, fatally wounded. The incident unfolded around 8:37 a.m. on February 14, 2026, at the Wash & Fold Super Laundry in the Laurelton neighborhood. Lowery was shot in the head just outside the establishment, located at the Conduit Plaza shopping strip near Springfield Boulevard and 144th Avenue.
