Joel Rashko Jr., a 24-year-old from Newport News, Virginia, was tragically shot to death on May 10, 2014, in Roy Wilkins Park, Queens, New York. The incident occurred while Joel was watching a basketball game with his brother, Julien Rashko, who was also affiliated with the Bloods street gang.
