The fatal incident unfolded in the early afternoon of September 10, 2022. Artis was behind the wheel of his Chevrolet Impala, with his daughter in the passenger seat, when he became involved in a minor traffic collision with a white Acura on the Horace Harding Expressway, near 108th Street.
