On a Tuesday afternoon in Queens, the life of 31-year-old Dashawn Taylor, an aspiring rapper known as 'Day Dolla',' was tragically cut short. The male victim was shot on October 9, 2018, around 12:25 p.m. during a dispute on 171st Street near 120th Avenue in the Jamaica neighborhood. Taylor sustained gunshot wounds to his chest and face and was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries a few hours later.
