Dashawn Taylor, a 31-year-old resident of Queens, New York, tragically lost his life on October 9, 2018. Taylor was shot during a confrontation on 171st Street near 120th Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. The incident occurred around 12:25 p.m., and Taylor sustained gunshot wounds to his chest and face. Despite being rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries a few hours later.
