A holiday weekend gathering turned into a scene of tragedy in St. Albans, Queens, when a dispute over food at a family barbecue escalated to fatal violence. On the evening of May 27, 2023, 25-year-old Chevaughn Millings, a Black male, was shot and killed inside a home on Pineville Lane.
