Joseph "Taheim" Bryan, a 50-year-old filmmaker from Queens, New York, was tragically shot and killed on the night of August 19, 2021. Bryan was sitting in his parked car on Jackson Avenue in Long Island City when an unidentified gunman approached and fired multiple shots into the vehicle. The assailant, who was captured on security footage, shot Bryan four times in the arm and torso before fleeing the scene in a dark-colored Mazda driven by an accomplice.
