In the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, a 57-year-old man named Mohammed Rizwan was killed in a sudden act of violence. On a Tuesday evening, a gunshot broke the calm on 171st Street. Responding to a 911 call from Rizwan's family just after 5:45 p.m., police arrived to find him with a gunshot wound to his chest on his own doorstep.
