On February 26, 2019, Mohammed Rizwan, a 57-year-old resident of Queens, New York, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The incident occurred at his home on 171st Street in Jamaica, Queens. Rizwan was responding to a knock at his front door around 5:45 p.m. when he was shot in the chest. His family, who were upstairs at the time, heard the gunshot and immediately called the police. Rizwan was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
