Dwayne Smith, a 37-year-old Jamaican-born mechanic, was tragically killed on July 5, 2019, in Queens, New York. Smith was riding his bicycle home around 11:15 PM in the Springfield Gardens section of Queens when an unidentified assailant fired multiple shots at him. He was struck in the back, abdomen, and arm.
