In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Queens, New York, a birthday party turned into a scene of horror that ended the life of 35-year-old Lenner Zuniga. On October 6, 2024, within the confines of an apartment building at 101-66 125th Street, a celebration tragically escalated, leaving Zuniga with multiple gunshot wounds to his head and torso. The violence of the encounter was stark, as it was later reported that Zuniga had also been stabbed eight times during the altercation.
In his
final moments, Zuniga desperately sought help, placing a call to 911. However, the aid he summoned would not arrive in time to save him. Police and emergency medical services responded to the scene at approximately 3:05 a.m. They found Zuniga gravely wounded and rushed him to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. Despite their efforts, his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
