On a late summer evening in Queens, New York, the life of 21-year-old Marcellus Shields was tragically cut short by gunfire. The male victim, identified as a Black man, was killed on August 26, 2019, in the Rosedale neighborhood. Shields and his friend, 23-year-old Antoine Folkes, were sitting inside a Kia sedan when the attack occurred.
