In the small community of Hurley, Virginia, the life of 34-year-old Matthew Shon Hurley was tragically cut short on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. A lifelong resident of Buchanan County, Hurley was a father and a construction worker who also worked part-time at a local hardware store. He was known for his love of singing, football, hunting, camping, and fishing.
