On February 14, 2024, a tragic incident occurred at a Wingstop restaurant located on Coliseum Crossing in Hampton, Virginia. Travell Lavar Giles, a 29-year-old man from Newport News, was shot inside the establishment where he worked as an assistant manager. Hampton Police responded to reports of the shooting, but unfortunately, Giles succumbed to his injuries.
