On November 10, 2015, at approximately 6:52 p.m., Hampton Police responded to reports of gunfire at the Century Plaza Apartments, located at 135 Lassiter Drive near Apartment 122 in Hampton, Virginia. Upon arrival, officers discovered Steven Harris, a 21-year-old male, lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, shoulder, and head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
