On November 22, 2023, the day before Thanksgiving, 17-year-old Brian Maurice Fullerton was tragically shot and killed while working at a Rally's restaurant in Hampton, Virginia. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the Riverpointe Plaza on Mercury Boulevard, in one of the Peninsula's busiest shopping districts.
