On the evening of April 13, 2016, Rashide Sylvester Fraser, a 29-year-old male from Roanoke, was fatally shot in Hampton, Virginia. The incident unfolded at a Speedy Mart located near 201 Lassiter Drive. Fraser was the passenger in a silver PT Cruiser when an unknown individual shot him multiple times, striking him in the spine and the back of his neck.
