Shawn Frye, a 14-year-old boy from Paterson, New Jersey, was tragically found dead on August 2, 2022, in a driveway on Beach 67th Street in the Arverne neighborhood of Queens, New York. The young teenager had been visiting his brother in the Rockaways when he was fatally shot. According to police reports, Shawn was discovered lying face down with a gunshot wound to his lower back.
